Nazanin Karimi Hajari

Nazanin Karimi Hajari has a rich cultural background and infuses her designs with a breadth of inspiration. Nazanin is a nurturer who has loved design and styling for as long as she can remember. She strives to help her clients bring the touch of Bohemia into their space. She infuses the client's personality into her designs with things the homeowner loves and transforms their space into a Chic Living Interior.

Nazanin grew up in Iran until the age of 19. She lived in Germany for several months before coming to Portland, Oregon where she enrolled at Portland State University. After graduating with a BA in Science from PSU, she studied Ultrasound at University of Massachusetts and worked at OHSU doing vascular ultrasounds. After her second child was born, she became a full-time mother and raised two wonderful boys. During this time she remodeled her home in Portland in addition to a couple rental homes. The reaction of her friends and family when they saw Nazanin’s design work made it obvious that she had a natural talent and a true gift for interior design. Once both of her sons were away at college, Nazanin decided it was time to pursue her love and passion for design and enrolled at Heritage School of Interior Design. Upon graduation, her dream was to work in a design collaborative. Well now the stars have aligned and Nazanin was given the opportunity to join Urban ID.
